We have a flexible approach and can run the whole process or contribute to parts of it. The process typically involves the following steps:

 

  1. Analysis of needs, development of a job description;
  2. Attracting potential candidates, either through advertisements in newspaper or on the internet, or through a search process;
  3. Stay in contact with potential candidates;
  4. Undertaking first interviews, typically assessing technical skills and background;
  5. Second interview, typically assessing personality and managerial competencies through the use of structured interviews, personality test and job simulation exercises (an assessment centre);
  6. Final selection of candidates;
  7. Assistance in negotiating the terms of employment

Our preferred method of working is to maintain close co-operation with our client during the process, but we can run the hole process for the client if requested.

Executive search

In some processes confidentiality is essential. Executive search for key personnel is such a process.  

To find the most suitable candidate requires a extensive network and sound search procedures. As a Nordic company we have a larger network than most other companies.

Assessit’s search process typically consists of:

 

  • Business analysis and profile description where the requirements for holding the position will be clarified in cooperation with the client;
  • Search and evaluation where Assessit conduct a serach in the market identifying potential candidates
  • Screening interview with potential candidates
  • Presentation of candidates for the client
  • Assessment of final candidates using structured interviews, psychological testing and job simulation exercises
  • Reference checks
